What is RMIS?
Edited

The Convoy Platform uses RMIS to verify insurance coverage and obtain your Certificate of Insurance (COI).

How do I submit a COI to RMIS?

Ask your insurance agent or insurance broker to send your COI to RMIS at transportation@truckstop.com. Please note, RMIS does not accept COI’s that are submitted by the motor carrier. Ensure the certificate meets the following requirements:

  1. $1,000,000 auto liability coverage

  2. $100,000 cargo coverage

  3. List RMIS as the certificate holder:

    R.M.I.S.

    5388 Sterling Center Drive

    Westlake Village, CA 91361

What happens after my COI is submitted to RMIS?

It can take up to 3 business days for RMIS to verify your COI after it is received. If your certificate meets requirements, it will automatically update on the Convoy platform, enabling you to bid on and book loads with brokers.
