How do I submit my insurance?

Edited

Insurance verification is required to maintain full access to the Convoy Platform.

How do I submit my Certificate of Insurance (COI)?

Please ask your insurance agent to email your Certificate of Insurance to the Convoy Platform and cc' us as carrierinsurance@convoy.com. The COI must follow the listed requirements below.

NOTE: We do not accept COIs from carriers as proof of insurance. The COI must come from your insurance agent directly.

[For Insurance Agencies]: What needs to be on the COI?

The insurance agent must send a COI to carrierinsurance@convoy.com that follows the requirements listed below. Please include the carrier's DOT number on the certificate or in the subject line of the email to facilitate faster processing.

How long will it take for my insurance to be verified?

Once your COI has been received, it can take up to 1 business day for the Convoy Platform to verify your COI.

My COI on file lists Flexport Freight Tech LLC as certificate holder, is my insurance still valid?

Yes, if your COI has been verified with Flexport Freight Tech LLC as the certificate holder, we do not require a new certificate until your current COI expires. For new certificates, they should list DAT Freight Tech, LLC as certificate holder.
