What do you need help with?

What is RMIS?

Convoy partners with RMIS (Registry Monitoring Insurance Services) for continuous Certificate of Insurance monitoring on auto and cargo coverage as well AM Best Ratings for insurance providers.

How do I submit a COI to RMIS?

Upon insurance renewal, carriers are required to have their insurance agent/broker send an updated Certificate of Insurance to transportation@rmis.com. Please ensure agents/brokers list RMIS as the Certificate Holder:

RMIS
5388 Sterling Center Drive
Westlake Village, CA 91361

What happens after my COI is submitted to RMIS?

Once RMIS verifies the Certificate of Insurance meets Convoy’s requirements listed in the terms of service, it will automatically update in Convoy’s system the day the policy goes into effect. Please note, RMIS is unable to process any certificates received from the carrier. If a carrier would like to confirm if their renewal certificate has been received, they are more than welcome to contact RMIS to verify at (888) 643-8174. Please be advised it can take up to 3 business days for RMIS to verify a carrier’s insurance after the insurance agent/broker emails it to transportation@rmis.com.
