How do I submit a COI to RMIS?
Carriers are required to have their insurance agent/broker send an updated Certificate of Insurance to transportation@truckstop.com.
Steps to Take:
- Copy these steps and send this to your insurance agent/broker.
- Have your insurance agent/broker send a copy of your COI listing the requirements below to transportation@truckstop.com. RMIS must be listed as a certificate holder to work with Convoy. Please follow the below format:
Insured:
<INSERT THE NAME AND MC/DOT NUMBER OF THE INSURED>
Certificate Holder:R.M.I.S.
5388 Sterling Center Drive
Westlake Village, CA 91361 - It can take up to 3 business days for RMIS to verify your COI after it is received.
Once your insurance has been verified by RMIS, you may become “Dispatch Ready” with Convoy!

What happens after my COI is submitted to RMIS?
Once RMIS verifies the Certificate of Insurance meets Convoy’s requirements listed in the terms of service, it will automatically update in Convoy’s system the day the policy goes into effect. Please note, RMIS is unable to process any certificates received from the carrier. If a carrier would like to confirm if their renewal certificate has been received, they are more than welcome to contact RMIS to verify at (888) 643-8174.
