If a user does not have their location services set to "Always", the first pop-up in the app will direct the user to make edits in their general phone settings. The location authorization must be set to "Always" while a user is on a load to ensure automatic updates, even when the app is running in the background.
Per the rate confirmation sheet, location services must be enabled for the entire shipment, and 3.5 hours before arriving at the pickup. Enabling location services is also a requirement for earning Quick Pay on Convoy loads.
To turn on location services on an iPhone, follow these steps.
1. Open the Convoy App If your location services are not set to "Always", the first screen in the app will always direct you to your general phone settings to edit this authorization. |

2. Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone. |

3. Within Settings, navigate to the Convoy app. You can do this by searching 'Convoy' at the search bar at the top. |

4. Select 'Location' |

5. Tap on the toggle next to "Always" to enable location services. |
To turn on location services on an Android, follow these steps.

2. Click on "Settings" Select "Allow" to customize your location settings |

3. Selecting "Allow" will open your App info. Select "Permissions". |
|
4. Enable location so the toggle is highlighted blue instead of Gray. |
