How do I turn on location services?

Drivers need to have the Convoy Driver app open and their location services turned on for the entire shipment. Turning on location services automatically sends updates about the load to the Convoy team and our shippers, so you don't have to worry about getting called for ETAs. Enabling location services is also a requirement for earning Quick Pay on Convoy loads. 

To turn on location services, follow these steps.



First, turn on location services for your phone:

1. Go to Settings.

2. Tap "Privacy".

3. Tap "Location Services". 

4. Click the toggle next to location services, it will turn green when on.

5. Scroll down to the Convoy Driver app and tap on it.

6. Under "Allow location access", tap "Always."



Option 1:

1. Open the quick settings menu by swiping down from the top of your screen.

2. Tap the location icon.

3. Tap "agree" on the location consent popup.

Option 2:

1. Go to Settings.

2. Under "Personal" tap "Location". 

3. Tap the toggle on the top right.

4. Tap "agree" on the location consent popup.
