To haul loads booked through the Convoy Platform, ensure that your location services from your phone's settings are turned on for the Convoy app and set to "Always". Turn location services on 4 hours prior to pick up and leave on for the entire trip.


Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth, successful haul. 

Before Pickup:
  1. Open the Convoy app to “My Loads" section, tap “Booked", and select the active load.

  2. Ensure the correct driver is assigned to the load. The driver must have the Convoy app downloaded, with location services turned on and set to “Always” at least 4 hours before pickup. (See: How do I turn on location services?)

Please note the pickup number will not be released until 4 hours to the pickup appointment.

At Pickup:
  1. Open the Convoy app to the active load.
  2. Arrive at the pickup location. The app's GPS tracking will detect that you're at the pickup location and ask you to confirm your arrival. You may also manually mark arrival in the app as long as your location tracking verifies you are near the pickup location. 
  3. When your truck is loaded, tap “Complete Pickup” and then “Confirm Pickup” to confirm.

At Delivery:
  1. With GPS tracking enabled for the entire trip, arrive at the drop-off location and mark the stop as arrived.
  2. When your truck has been unloaded, tap "Complete Delivery" and then "Confirm Delivery".
  3. Finally, you will need to upload your BOL to the Convoy app and must do so within 24 hours of product delivery. Submitting your BOL is required to get paid, even if you use a factoring company.
