Carrier Performance Metrics and Evaluation
Overview:
The Convoy Platform evaluates carrier performance based on three quality metrics: On-Time, Falloffs (Cancellations), and App Use. Based on a carrier's service score for each metric, one of four ratings is assigned: Excellent, Acceptable, At Risk, or Suspension.
You can view your performance ratings in the Convoy Platform app on the "Profile" tab.
Quality Metric Details:
Convoy Platform's On-Time Policy:
On-Time is measured by whether the driver arrives at each stop by the appointment time listed on the ratecon. The later a driver arrives past the appointment time, the more it hurts the carrier's score. Carriers will receive partial credit if the driver arrives less than 60 minutes late to their appointment. Any arrivals 60 minutes or more after their appointment will be considered 100% late. Visit here to learn more about how we evaluate late severity.

Convoy Platform's Falloff Policy:
A Falloff occurs anytime a carrier cancels an accepted load. Not all falloffs have the same impact to the network however, so we use variable scoring depending on the severity of the falloff:
Falloffs
Note: Falloffs that occur less than 5 minutes after accepting do not impact your scorecard if the falloff occurs more than 8 hours prior to pickup |

Convoy Platform's App Use Policy:
App Use requirements are a set of location tracking, driver identification and document submission steps. Successfully meeting App Use requirements during a load provides brokers real time shipment tracking visibility, reduces status update calls and emails, and allows faster payments to carriers.
