We are excited to announce that carriers can now fund their fuel account directly in the Convoy app through Zelle®. Zelle® is a great way to instantly transfer money between bank accounts. In this case it allows you to instantly send money to your fuel account account for free.
Connecting your Zelle® account to your fuel account is easy through our integration with Zelle®, blynk™. Most major banks offer Zelle® for both business and personal accounts, but if you are unsure if you have access to Zelle® reach out to your bank today.
Connect your Zelle® and Fuel accounts in five easy steps:
- Agree to the blynk™ Terms & Conditions
- Input your Zelle® Account Identifier (Phone number or email)
- Input the amount you would like to transfer
- We will confirm your Zelle® Account Identifier. If we cannot verify your your Zelle® Account Identifier, you will have the opportunity to input a different identifier
- Once the Zelle® Account Identifier is confirmed, you will be able to navigate to your bank app or webpage to confirm the transaction. The money will then be moved onto your fuel account.

Step 1: Scroll to the bottom of the terms and conditions and tap “Agree and Continue”
Step 2: Input your name and the phone number or email address that is associated with your Zelle® account. Then Select "Setup Payment".
Step 3: Select the amount you would like to transfer to your fuel account. The minimum is $1 and the maximum varies by bank. Maximum transfer amounts can be adjusted by your bank if you reach out to them. Once the value is selected, swipe the Add Funds selection from left to right.
Step 4: Convoy will confirm that Zelle® has a record of your email or phone number on file. If it is on file, you will receive notification from your bank that a transfer has been requested. At this point you have 14 days to complete the transfer in your banking app or website before it is cancelled. If the email or phone number is not found in the Zelle® network, you will be prompted to try a new email or phone number.
Step 5: Your bank will send you a notification or email requesting your approval for the transaction. Confirm your transaction in your bank app or webpage and the money will be transferred to your fuel account within 5 minutes.
*Note: Do not create your own transfer from within your bank account before completing a transfer automatically generated by Convoy. Once you have completed your first transfer from the Convoy app using Zelle®, you will be able to initiate future transfers from your bank account.
