What compensation should I expect for rejected product?

Convoy will compensate for time spent waiting on resolution for rejected product in accordance with our detention and layover policy. Additionally, Convoy will compensate for redelivery or extra stop miles when rerouting is requested from the shipper.

Please note: rates for these miles will not necessarily reflect the brokered payout. They are calculated based on lane volume and various other load factors, including dollars per mile, weight, and return location.

Convoy is unable to compensate for actions taken by the carrier that are not pre-approved by the shipper. Primary examples of this include premature disposal of freight, returning to the shipper without approval, and direct negotiation with facilities and shippers. Additionally, Convoy is unable to compensate for storage fees if a carrier chooses to store the product at a facility while taking another load.
